Holiday Camps are with through city Park and Recreation Departments listed below. Each skate session will have anywhere from 5 to 15 youth skaters, ages 5-13, paired with 2-4 coaches. Skate sessions are 3 - 4 hours in duration and can be a single day or full week package. Camps are for intro, beginner or intermediate level skaters.
Beginning with a skate talk, stretches, and warm ups, we will then get on our boards in groups rotating through different coaches and objects around the skatepark focusing on each skaters individual goals. There are plenty of water breaks, shade breaks, and snack breaks, as well as a lunch time.
Camp Days will have group games (capture the flag, sharks & minos, and four corners) and a daily specialty activity off of our skateboards (art, building, parkour, and photography) and of course, everyone’s favorite, plenty of free skate.
Everyone who attends will receive color stickers and a skate dollar prize :)
