Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum age to skate?

While all ages are welcome 5 is an ideal age to start at.

Do you teach adults too?

Yes! Of course! Any age or level are welcome to join. We offer private lessons that are approached differently than a child’s lessons and once we figure out your skate goals we have coaches that will help get you there.

What do I need to bring?

Skateboard, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards. And don’t forget water. A skater under the age of 18 is required full pads and a skater of the age18+ is required a helmet otherwise skates at their own risk. We offer all equipment and boards and you can check them out here. Use code SKATE to get free delivery!

What if I don’t have a skateboard?

You are always welcome to use your coach’s board but every skateboard is unique to its skater and we recommend purchasing your own if you continue with your skateboarding. Skateboards can be purchased on our website here. Use code SKATE to get free delivery!

Where can we skate?

We can skate all across Los Angeles. A coach's availability is based on their territory. Usually we find a local skatepark in your area, but we can also find an urban spot, visit your home, or find a creative solution.

What days and times can we skate?

That depends on location as some skate parks are only open during certain days/time. Some locations however are always open and we can schedule 1:1 lessons accordingly or based on your availability.

What happens if the weather is not permitting?

Weather cancellations result in postponement or make-up. No charge. Lessons push to the following week. Classes hold a makeup class the week after the scheduled completion date.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a fee. Giving notice under 12 hours will be subject to a “same day” 25% fee and under an hour's notice will be considered a “no show” with a 50% fee.

What sessions do you offer?

We offer private lessons which you can check out here as well as discounts for packages, consecutive lessons, siblings and adults. We also have group classes located in Burbank and Glendale. Don’t forget about our fun and exciting camps either to get your skater exercise and fun in the summer months.

Do you offer bilingual lessons?

Yes! We do have a Spanish speaking coach if you prefer and we will help accommodate you as best as we can.
